Recovery Kit

recoverykit.co.uk

Recovery equipment for patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery and injury — cold and compression therapy machines, wraps, and Incrediwear. Customers can hire by the month, subscribe long-term, or buy outright. Most of the platform is built around the hire and subscription model.

Relationship

Active development and maintenance

The website

  • Clean product pages with size guides and a simple booking flow
  • Secure payments for hires, subscriptions, and one-off purchases — with versioned terms acceptance recorded at checkout
  • Cross-product cart — hire a machine and buy accessories in one checkout
  • Verified customer reviews — automatically invited, approved, and displayed on the right product pages
  • Blog, recovery guides, FAQs, and customer testimonials
  • Built to be found — on Google (including Shopping and verified Product Ratings) and by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude

The dashboard

  • A “Today” landing page surfacing the most important jobs and numbers as soon as the team signs in
  • Visual booking calendar with every hire action — dispatch, extension, return, invoice — in a single panel
  • Automated task system telling the team what needs doing and when
  • Professional invoices created, emailed, and tracked in a few clicks
  • Live fleet view showing the status of every machine
  • Real-time analytics on revenue, machine profitability, referral attribution, and product popularity
  • Multi-user team access with role-based permissions, so each member sees what's relevant to them

The interactive demo below runs against a separate database. All data shown is fictional.

Running on autopilot

  • Reminders generated automatically from every booking's lifecycle
  • Customer emails sent at the right moments, hands-free
  • Hire extensions handled smoothly end-to-end
  • A personalised review request from the founder goes out 10 days after every dispatched purchase
  • Shipping handled hands-free at both ends — outbound labels, Royal Mail collections, and drop-off QR codes generated on demand and emailed to the customer

And whenever something important happens — a new hire, an extension, a return, a payment confirmation — a push notification goes straight to the team's phones.

Example notifications shown — all details are fictional.
